About ANZTPA

The Australia New Zealand Therapeutic Product Agency is a joint project of the Therapeutic Goods Agency in Australia and the New Zealand Medicines and Medical Devices Safety Authority.

The Treaty
This Treaty is the agreement between the Government of Australia and the Government of New Zealand for the establishment of a joint scheme for the regulation of therapeutic products.
Statement of Intent
On 20 June 2011, the Prime Ministers of Australia and New Zealand reaffirmed their commitment to the establishment of the Australia New Zealand Therapeutic Products Agency (ANZTPA).
